The Jhalak Prize unveils new poetry award as submissions open for 2025

Prize-director Sunny Singh claimed: “We are particularly thrilled concerning our new Jhalak Poetry Prize. From the get go, poetry has been a compelling component of the submissions and we are pleased to be able to give better interest to a style that is producing several of the most powerful and vital literature today.

The 2024 champions Yepoka Yeebo and Hiba Noor Khan will also be part of this year’s judging panels along with authors Yassmin-Abdel Magied, Jason Allen-Paisant, Malika Booker, Sareeta Domingo, Will Harris, Taran Khan and Alom Shaha.

All 3 rewards will certainly be open for entries in between 12th September 2024 and 13th December 2024, for books published between 1st January 2024 and 31st December 2024.
