The YA Book Prize celebrates 10 years with shortlist dominated by debut authors

The YA Publication Prize was released by The Bookseller in 2014 to celebrate books for teenagers and young adults and to urge even more youths to review publications. For the third year, it is being organised in organization with Edinburgh International Book Event, with the shortlisted authors to appear on the event programme and the champion to be announced throughout an event on 22nd August.

Three even more launching authors fill out the shortlist. Anika Hussain’s This Is How You Autumn in Love, released by Hot Trick Books, is a charming fake dating rom-com in which Zara makes believe to be in a partnership with her best friend Adnan to conceal the identity of his secret girlfriend.
