Chair of judges, Miriam Robinson, claimed: âThere was some particularly elegant footwork among comms groups this quarter, as the marketplace continues to demand more from campaigns, and publishers maintain aspiring to get to brand-new audiences with their brand names. A number of writers were repositioned, rebranded or transformed, and marketers increased to the challenge, producing hugely engaging content and demonstrating a level of audience awareness that is absolutely nothing except incredible. Outstanding use influencers, really clever fan engagement, proceeded forays into international markets and motivated cover discloses were all on display in an absolutely outstanding season.â
The Book Advertising Society Q3 award winners were revealed at a conference last evening (27th November). The honors consisted of seven classifications, throughout which 50 campaigns were submitted for consideration across kidsâs and grown-up publishing residences. Faber won the Adult Fiction Award for Intermezzo, with the judges declaring that âthe term âoccasion postingâ feels like it was invented for this campaignâ.
Various other victors included John Murray Press for the Adult Non-Fiction group with their âhappyâ campaign for Oh Miriam!, with the judges applauding exactly how it captured âthe spirit of Miriam Margolyesâ, driving impressive sales. The judges also kept in mind that the book confronted with an Election Day clash in advance of publication, so âpivoted to a Vote Miriam activation that beautifully brought her individuality to the fore, underpinned by smart execution of digital adsâ.
